Katherine Meek, Founder, LMFT 130641, LPCC 13950
I’m Katherine Meek, a Licensed Marriage and Family Therapist (LMFT) and Licensed Professional Clinical Counselor (LPCC) with over a decade of experience working in the mental health and people-development fields. I earned my Master’s degree in Counseling from Western Seminary, where I completed a focus in Marriage and Family Therapy. Over the years, I have developed a passion for helping adults better understand themselves, build healthier relationships, and create meaningful, lasting change. My therapeutic approach is collaborative, practical, and solution-oriented, drawing primarily from Cognitive Behavioral Therapy (CBT), Motivational Interviewing (MI), and Solution-Focused Therapy. I believe therapy should be a place where you can be honest, challenged, supported, and understood without judgment. I work primarily with adults navigating addiction and addictive behaviors, neurodiversity, anxiety, depression, and communication or conflict within relationships. Rather than simply focusing on what is wrong, I work with clients to understand the patterns that may be keeping them stuck, identify their strengths and resources, and develop practical tools they can use both inside and outside of therapy. My goal is to meet you where you are, partner with you in the process, and help you move toward greater self-awareness, confidence, healthier relationships, and a life that feels more aligned with who you want to be.
